About Me
Since childhood, I've been fascinated by how nature and its systems work. This interest, combined with my love of animals, led me to study biology at ETH Zurich. There, I earned my bachelor's and master's degrees, specializing in microbiology and immunology. It has always been important to me to put observations on a scientifically sound basis and to critically examine complex relationships. My studies not only taught me analytical thinking, but also the ability to communicate knowledge in an understandable way.
Professionally, I was able to gain diverse experience in the pharmaceutical industry – from drug production to clinical research.
Since I enjoy sharing my knowledge and wanted to incorporate my passion for horses into my career, I decided to establish a second business in the field of horse feeding.
As the owner of a greedy Freiberger gelding, I have studied feeding and training intensively. In doing so, I realized that modern horse husbandry presents many challenges—in particular, excessive feed intake relative to exercise, which leads to obesity and long-term health problems.
In numerous conversations with stable owners, fellow riders, and horse owners, I've found that there's often uncertainty or a lack of knowledge about feeding. Since veterinarians and therapists are usually not specialized in horse feeding, well-founded, individually tailored feeding plans are often lacking. Many horse owners feel left alone with their questions and have limited access to professional advice.
My goal over the next few years is to accompany numerous horses and their owners and help them optimally adapt feeding to their individual needs. It's especially important to me that owners not only receive recommendations, but also understand why certain feeding methods are beneficial and what advantages and disadvantages they entail. My goal is to provide horse owners with in-depth knowledge and to be a reliable contact for questions and individual advice.
I look forward to accompanying and advising you and your horse on your individual feeding journey!

Horse feeding has a huge impact on health and performance
Career
Thanks to my scientific background as a biologist with a focus on microbiology and immunology, I already had a solid foundation in the field of health. To further deepen my knowledge of horse feeding, I completed a comprehensive training course in equine nutrition at The Open College of Equine Studies . Between 2024 and 2025, I intensively studied scientifically based horse feeding and earned a diploma that forms the basis for my consulting work. Since continuous education is essential to me, I am constantly expanding my knowledge and pursuing additional certificates, for example, in the feeding management of sport horses or stable management.
Education
2024-2025
Diploma in Equine Nutrition
The Open College of Equine Studies
During my advanced training in equine nutrition at TOCES in England, I studied the anatomy and physiology of the equine gastrointestinal tract, their nutritional requirements, ration composition, and nutrition-related diseases in depth. This knowledge enables me to scientifically analyze a horse's nutritional status and develop individualized feeding plans and recommendations. I have also studied laminitis and gastric ulcers and understand how these diseases can be recognized and feeding management adjusted accordingly.
2021-2022
Master of Science in Immunology and Microbiology
ETH Zürich
During my master's studies, I specialized in microbiology and immunology. I researched microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, as well as their function and interactions with the environment. My focus was on pathogens, antibiotic resistance, and beneficial microbes in medicine and industry. I also acquired in-depth knowledge of the immune system and its responses to infections, autoimmune diseases, allergies, and cancer. The two disciplines are closely linked, as microbes activate the immune system while simultaneously fighting infections.
2017-2021
Bachelor of Science in Biology
ETH Zürich
During my bachelor's degree, I intensively explored the fundamental concepts of biology. In doing so, I learned and understood the key relationships of nature and its systems. In my final year, I specialized in biodiversity and acquired comprehensive knowledge of plants, fungi, and animals.
